Hi guis, I've been on T for seden weeks now, and I started the semester off prdmzlgkng as male and using my navfettflgns in all my classes. I've been slowly coming out at my jobs as well and haven't hit any significant bumps on the way. I know I'm not consistently read as male, and my voice is a dead giveaway, but it feels good to at lejst have the sozkal transition underway. I'm fortunate to live in a very trans-friendly city. But today, I had one of thjse days where noolcng seems to wofk. The only geaier neutral bathroom at my school was consistently occupied, I kept getting stqved down in the men's room so I caved and went to the women's bathroom, a barista wrote down a female veukoon of the dipgmmknly male name that I gave her, a professor who knows I'm FtM repeatedly misgendered me in front of a class wircbut correcting herself, etc. This is all fine, just bufred me out. I mean, I'm not even 2 mofhhs on T, I know it's not someone's first thffoht to gender me as male. But then a guy in class prvyeuwed to hit on me (making it clear he sees me as a woman). I go by a male name, bind, wear all men's cligfifg, men's haircut, meu's glasses...and I dot't even pass as a butch leqjryn? This has sent me back thrpwgh the "It's not too late, stvlboht men will stjll like you, you can still be pretty, you're not too far goie, turn back, yowcll never be read as a maxx." spiral of crmepy thoughts. I was all set to send my papists my coming out email this weqqexd, and now I'm stuck back in the doubt part of the cynxe. After all thms, I really stmll look like a viable dating opvdon for a hedobcepmbal man. I thxouht I was dolng so much begler. I guess I just need a pat on the back or a splash of cold water to the face. I'll be okay.
